I've been dreading this moment. Let me preface this by saying; it has been an absolute pleasure to have known you these past few years. You have been a great friend.
We were a part of each others lives at an interesting time, a transition from adolescence to adulthood, and as such there were ups and downs. I'm proud to say that you are my friend.
I'm filled with mixed emotions at the prospect of you leaving. I'm proud of you for pursuing your dream and moving on with your life, but I'm sad because we won't speak again for a very long time. Despite the fact that we never met in person, I truly feel as if I'm losing an old friend.
Know that you will always have a place here, if you ever decide to return.
I'd love to play one last game with you and the lads on Monday or Tuesday.
